Prof. Oh won the grand prize at the Marine Science and Technology Awards

The honor of this year's Marine Science and Technology Awards went to Pukyong National University professor Junghwan Oh, who developed ultra-precision medical devices for human diagnosis and treatment using functional materials from marine organisms.



Professor Junghwan Oh, who was selected for the grand prize, developed ultra-precision medical devices for human diagnosis and treatment using functional materials from marine organisms, proving that they can be used for the treatment and diagnosis of various diseases such as cancer. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries explained, “Prof. Junghwan Oh was awarded the grand prize for high recognition of his innovation and excellence of the convergence of maritime and fisheries and health and medical technology.”
